Originally from a one stoplight town in North Carolina, Caitlin Davis is a writer, comedian, and director based in Los Angeles. She wrote the holiday special, Mad About Yuletide, for Raven's Home Season Four and was a finalist for the Shondaland Women Directors Mentorship.

Caitlin began her career in the New York theatre scene, studying at the Labyrinth Theatre Ensemble, and performing in psycho operas like Stop the Virgens created by Karen O and directed by Adam Rapp, immersive plays like Paradiso by Michael Counts, and Usual Girls by Ming Peiffer at Signature Theatre.

She created the hit musical, Missionary Style, which completed a sold out run at UCB Chelsea, and later, UCB Franklin in Los Angeles. Missionary Style was produced as a pilot by Filmbank Entertainment.

Caitlin wrote and directed the viral, award-winning series, The Van Gogh Show, featured by Buzzfeed, Huffington Post, Brooklyn Magazine, DNA Info, Daily Mail, and more. Other web content includes an original comedy series for Funny or Die, entitled Total Opposites, and two episodes of the hyper-Brooklyn mockumentary series, Actually No. She also served as a punch-up writer for the Snap Original, Commanders.

Caitlin acted as script coordinator on Harlem teen drama The Plug, created by Gregory Alan Howard, and writers' assistant for HOA, created by Zora Bikangaga and Cheri Oteri.
